The path of beetles atop their dung

I thought I’d post a few more videos for you all to enjoy…after all, it is the holidays! This video is a TED talk by Marcus Byrne about dung beetle behavior research. Marcus and his fellow scientists discovered why dung beetles dance upon their poo- how they react to sunlight, skylight, and heat. There is even a dung beetle that drags its poo while walking forward! The best part by far, however, is when they put little boots on the beetles, you gotta see that!
